About Our Fundraiser
In 2025, two of our gymnasts, Zia du Toit and Jana van Staden, made history by qualifying to represent South Africa at prestigious international competitions — the FIG World Challenge Cup in Hungary, the Junior World Championships in Manila, and the Vera Caslavska Olympic Hopes Cup in the Czech Republic.
Alongside their dedicated coaches, these athletes will be competing at the highest level of gymnastics, gaining invaluable experience and showcasing the incredible talent nurtured right here in Paarl.
However, international competitions come at a significant cost. Each event is self-funded, with expenses for travel, accommodation, entry fees, and coaching support amounting to tens of thousands of rands per athlete.
This fundraiser aims to ease that financial burden, ensuring Zia, Jana, and their coaches can proudly wear the green and gold on the international stage. Every ticket purchased brings them one step closer to making their dreams a reality.
